We are so happy that you’ll be able to join us for our wedding!  As many of you know, we’ve lived together for several years, and our house is already filled with all the things we could ever need to make it a home.  While the presence of your company is gift enough, an alternative to a registry has been set up here for those who have expressed an interest in offering a gift to mark the occasion.

Charitable donation:

We are so fortunate to have all of our needs met, but are mindful that not everyone does.  We would be honored if you made a donation in our names to one of the following charitable foundations doing important work.

Local – Liberty Wildlife

  • Founded by the bride’s parents in the 1980’s and the venue for the wedding.  Liberty Wildlife saves thousands of native Arizona animals each year, provides ongoing care for non-releasable birds, offers community education about these natural beauties, and is one of only two non-eagle feather repositories in the nation.

National – American Civil Liberties Union

  • The ACLU works tirelessly in courts, legislatures, and communities to defend and preserve the Constitution’s promise of liberty for everyone in our country.

World – Deworm the World

  • Parasitic worms exact an enormous toll on human capital, slowing economic development in parts of the world that can least afford it.  Children are particularly susceptible to infection and experience the greatest negative impacts.  Evidence Action has determined that rigorous evidence demonstrates school-based deworming can improve children’s health, education, and long-term productivity in the most cost-effective way to create meaningful change to the world.

Honeymoon Fund and Suggestions:

We are very blessed to both be doing what we absolutely love – SCIENCE!  And as it turns out, we’re going to be on the job search this year and aren’t sure where we’ll be moving nor when we might be able to go on our honeymoon.  We would love to have your suggestions for what you think we should do and hear stories about your own honeymoon!  Please write them in a card and bring them to the wedding or mail them to us directly at our Baltimore address:
